The Glades Central (Belle Glade) ‘26 WR had a promising sophomore season, despite the fact his Raiders team finished with a 2-7 record. Here are his statistics right below.

•21 catches

•370 yards

•6 touchdowns

The 5-foot-11, 155-pound wide receiver had his best individual game in Week 5 against Dwyer – a 24-21 home loss in overtime. He recorded:

•4 catches

•130 receiving yards

•2 touchdowns (1 touchdown that sent the game to overtime)

“My performance was great,” Mosley said. “I wish I could’ve did better by scoring every time I touched the ball.”

Mosley on his sophomore season at Glades Central (nine games played):

“I could have done better,” Mosley said. “This wasn’t the best I did, but I tried my hardest to do the best I could. I know I let myself and others down by my season stats. We didn’t do as we expected and planned. It’s always work to put in to be great. We never let down. We fought till the end of the season.”

Mosley spoke on the coaching transition at Glades Central, which has went from Travis Moore (two-year tenure from 2012 to 2023 with 4-15 final record) to Omar Haugabook (Glades Central alum; former Pahokee offensive coordinator; Palm Beach County School Police Officer.)

“What I know for now is that being around Coach Omar, he’s gonna make you work no matter what,” Mosley said. “If you are hurting or in pain during the workout, you gotta push through it because you can’t quit when you are in pain on the field.”

Mosley had more to say about Haugabook.

“He’s a good person,” Mosley said. “He cares about you and wants you be on top of everything. No slacking.”

At this time, Mosley has one offer from Western Kentucky. He has also garnered interest from the likes of Pitt, FAU, Marist, Furman, and Penn. He spoke on the Western Kentucky offer and defensive backs coach Da’Von Brown, who is a fellow Belle Glade native.

“It felt great,” Mosley said. “A coach came to our practice and seen me ball and do my thing against the No. 1 cornerback on our team. He’s a great guy who will keep it real with you. He will let you know what you gotta work on and what you are doing good at.”

For this offseason, Mosley has been working on his craft with the Reign 7-on-7 team at different points. He has also been playing basketball and running track and field to stay in shape.

“I’m getting in a weight room, running on the track and hitting the field,” Mosley said. “I always grind. I can’t stop working. I haven’t proven myself yet that I’m the best I gotta keep working. With Reign, it’s going good. We’re traveling, having fun, and seeing new places. And for most, we’re winning games. For track, I love it. It’s gonna help me with my stamina so I could stay in shape and help me get into that extra gear I need.”

Mosley concluded things with an outlook for his upcoming junior season at Glades Central.

“I gotta keep working,” Mosley said. “Just keep putting in work In the weight room and on the field. Trying to turn it back around how it’s supposed to be.”
