WEST PALM BEACH – Jyron Hughley is the Muck’s most accomplished high school football player at this time from the Class of 2026.

The Cardinal Newman athlete, who plays mainly at the quarterback position, has earned the following honors as of today (March 19):
•Four-star status with Rivals.com; No. 212 national ranking for the ‘26 class; 5.8 rating

•Three-star status with On3; No. 265 national overall ranking for the ‘26 class; No. 18-ranked athlete in the nation; No. 51 overall in the state; 89 rating
Hughley (18 college offers at this time) reacted to his most recent recognitions on the national level.
“i was excited because the day before I was just talking to my homeboy about it,” Hughley said. “I was like, “Bro I’m just waiting for my time to come.” I balled this season. Just gotta stay patient and keep grinding. God is in control.”
This past weekend (March 16-17), Hughley led the Reign 7-on-7 offseason team – powered by Football Hotbed – in a tournament that took place in Atlanta.
Watch a key touchdown pass that Hughley threw to Glades Central ‘26 wide receiver Leslie Mosley.
“Well before the play, it was like second down and I knew the blitz was coming,” Hughley said. “So I told my wide receivers to get open. I didn’t expect myself to make that big play. I was just trying to scramble out the pocket. Just pulled a move out my bag.”
SIDE NOTE: The next major event this offseason for Hughley will be the Rivals Camp Series on Sunday, April 7 in Miami.
