BOCA RATON – These past few months have been quite eventful for Damon Allen.

The Belle Glade native has gone from being relatively unknown to a major college football recruiting prospect in Palm Beach County. And as of today (April 16), the 6-foot-1, 181-pound cornerback ended his college recruiting process.
How so?
Earlier this afternoon, the West Boca Raton ‘25 cornerback went with FAU as his college football home.
In essence, Allen is staying put in Palm Beach County with his college decision.
The transfer from Palm Beach Central chose FAU over the likes of West Virginia, Liberty, and Bethune Cookman.
What led Allen to be in this prime position was primarily his junior season performance at Palm Beach Central. He finished with:
•42 total tackles
•7 interceptions
•4 pass breakups
•2 forced fumbles
Allen’s best game for Palm Beach Central was in the Class 4M-Region 3 semifinal against Boca Raton in a close 34-28 win. He recorded two interceptions in the effort.
And now that Allen has ended his recruiting process, he will focus on getting better in the offseason and in preparation for this upcoming fall football season at West Boca Raton.
Allen touched briefly on his transfer move, which he announced via Instagram on Jan. 15.
“What led to me transferring was simply just a new opportunity waiting for me at West Boca,” Allen said.
We are looking for great things from Allen at West Boca Raton this year and at FAU for his college football career, which will begin in fall 2025.
