ROYAL PALM BEACH – The Royal Palm Beach Wildcats have a lot of youngsters on their team.
One of them is Samari Curry, a cornerback from the Class of 2027. He is the son of Royal Palm Beach offensive coordinator Sam Curry, who is from Belle Glade.

Samari played in 9 games this past season as a freshman. Watch his film to see his overall production for yourself.
Royal Palm Beach recruiting coordinator Dee Rolle Jr. offered his take on Samari.
“By far, he has the best technique at DB on the team,” Rolle Jr. said. “He is relentless. He didn’t give up a pass all season. He has the heart of a lion and is not afraid to hit. He’s quiet and won’t talk trash, but he’ll always show how good he is on the field.”
Royal Palm Beach ‘25 athlete Cameron Lewis could not agree more.
“Even though Samari may look small, his fundamentals and footwork are crazy,” Lewis said. “A great person to be around, he has great hands and great speed. He will be a problem in the years to come.”
Royal Palm Beach running backs coach Brandon Huggins chimed in.
“On the field Mari is probably the smallest man out there, but plays like he is 6’7,” Huggins said. “He is a technician at cornerback. What he lacks in size, he makes up with hard work and skill. Off the field he is very respectful and humble. Great student. He is a coaches son, so he is a student of the game.”
We will see what’s in store this upcoming fall season and beyond for the 5-foot-7, 130-pound cornerback.
Stay tuned for further updates on the Samari Journey.
