PALM BEACH GARDENS – We have a potential breakout star at Palm Beach Gardens.
Meet Samuel Louidort, the 6-foot-2, 195-pound hybrid defensive end/linebacker who is poised to do great things this upcoming season and beyond for the Gators.
We like to show evidence so everyone can see why the potential is there. So with that, let’s go into the success Louidort has had to this point.
For starters, Louidort emerged as a reliable defender in his sophomore season. He recorded the following statistics this past campaign for Gardens:
•12 tackles
•2 sacks
•2 forced fumbles
•1 interception
Louidort recapped his sophomore season with Palm Beach Gardens.
“My sophomore season at Gardens was a great learning experience for me,” Louidort said. “Coach [Tyrone] Higgins and my linebacker coach Rayfield Dixon taught me everything I know about football, and all it took for me was to listen and put what they told me into good use. Looking back, I wish I had been more proactive by managing my time, staying better conditioned and working harder training on my techniques. Overall, it was a valuable learning experience that helped me shape my character and taught me important life lessons.”
As a result of his production, Louidort received his first offer from Birmingham this past December. He has also garnered interest from the likes of Miami, Pitt, FAU, FIU, and Yale.
And then the offseason came for Louidort, who spent an ample amount of time working on his craft to improve from last year.
“My craft work has gotten better since I have started in the beginning and I can see it,” Louidort said. “The 7-on-7 was a great opportunity for me to learn more on technique and not physical. I can say I cover better and read the field better.”
Scouts and analysts can confirm this in more ways than one.
During the offseason, Louidort performed quite well in the Rivals Camp Series, the UA All-Ameircan Camp, and the FBU Camp. He received an invite to return for another Rivals and UA All-American camp.

“It was not a big surprise that I got invited back to Rivals and the UA All-American Camp and got a National Combine invite from FBU camp,” Louidort said. “I showed out and I was noticeable out of hundreds of people in every camp. And without a doubt, I was going to get picked for all of them. It was a fun experience to play with the best players in Florida and some players across the nation.”
Now that we have started the spring football circuit, Louidort is locked in and ready to go forward.
“Something I can expect from the spring circuit coming is me playing at a different level because of how much I have learned,” Louidort said. “I know I would be able to show out.”
Louidort and the Gators will be having its spring football jamboree at Palm Beach Gardens on Saturday, May 18.
After that, the focus will be on the summer offseason and the fall football season.
“I want to connect with the players and be a better captain,” Louidort said. “Aside from that, my goal is to receive four stars and have 20+ Division 1 offers by the end of the season. I know it can happen.”
