My dad inspires me in a lot of ways. He’s the definition of getting it out of the mud. He wakes up every day and provides for me and my family and is the definition of a father. Growing up, his main focus was providing. He started his company (Paint by Lux), and he has built his company from nothing to something. It’s a true testimony that with hard work, great things happen.

As for sports, my dad’s been coaching me since I was four years old. He’s taught me that no matter what, you gotta keep moving. He preached hard work and dedication. When I was too heavy to make weight, he was with me running in trash bags at 6:30 in the morning when my game wasn’t till one. When I was hurt, he was there making sure I was alright. When I was down and thought the world was against me, he was in my corner. Without my dad, I wouldn’t be the man or the player I am today.
