PAHOKEE – Larry Warren III has a great deal of potential on the gridiron.
The Pahokee Blue Devils ‘26 defensive back currently has two scholarship offers from FIU and Georgia State – both of which he has earned this month.
The 5-foot-10, 177-pound student-athlete went on to excel at the FIU Mega Camp this past weekend (June 15) in Miami, as he recorded one interception and two pass breakups.
Warren III on receiving the FIU offer after the Mega Camp:
“It felt great,” Warren III said. “The coaches liked how I looked on the field and in the drills. They liked my 40 time. They clocked me at 4.5. It was an amazing all-around experience.”
Warren III received his first offer from Georgia State exactly one week earlier on June 8.
The Pahokee speedster spoke on his Georgia State camp experience in Atlanta earlier this month.
“It was the same thing,” Warren III said. “I had two picks and one pass break up. The wide receiver rep I had. I was overthrown. They already knew about my 10.7 in the 100 meter dash, so that was just the icing on the cake.”
Warren III had a memorable track and field season this past spring. He finished with the following personal best marks for Pahokee:
•10.79 seconds in the 100-meter dash; Class 1A-Region 4 meet
•4th place finish in the 100; Class 1A state meet
•3rd place in the 4×100 relay; 1A state meet
•10th place in the 200-meter race; 1A state meet

Warren III made his return to Pahokee earlier this offseason after spending his sophomore campaign in the Orlando area. He played for Osceola (Kissimmee), a perennial powerhouse program in Central Florida.

Now with that said, Warren III is focused on maximizing his summer offseason in more ways than one. He will be attending Kansas State’s camp on June 22.
Other than that, it will be primarily workouts with the Blue Devils.
“It’s been a rough process,” said Warren III, who started his high school football journey with Pahokee as a freshman before experiencing his Osceola stint as a sophomore.
“I knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but I still got to put that work in,” Warren III continued. “Unfortunately I havent been playing 7-on-7 because I can’t find a team. With that said, summer workouts at Pahokee are fun but we still put that work in. Trust and believe.”
For Warren III’s upcoming junior season at Pahokee, he is hoping to achieve the following:
•At least 25 Division I (FBS/FCS) offers
•Stars on Rivals.com, 247Sports.com, and On3.com
•Rural state championship with Pahokee
We will be following Warren III’s overall progress over the next several months ahead. Stay tuned for further updates on his college recruiting process and more.
