Underrated: ATH Easton Scott

JENSEN BEACH – This is going to be said right now.

Easton Scott will be a great asset to whichever school he plays for on the next level. It can be confirmed primarily because of the sheer level of impact that he already has on the Jensen Beach Falcons varsity football program.

As a junior, the 2025 athlete posted the following statistics:

•85 tackles (46 solo)

•27 tackles for loss

•7 sacks

•4 pass breakups

•1 interception

•1 defensive touchdown

Best individual game: Week 5 vs. Benjamin in 24-0 home loss with 12 tackles, 5 solo, 3 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks

Scott shared his thoughts on how his junior season went at Jensen Beach.

“I loved everything about my junior year,” the 6-foot-1, 212-pound athlete said. “I’ve been playing with some of the players on my team since we were eight years old. So being able to play with them through it all has been great. At the same time, the playoffs should have gone different. We were way too comfortable being up 16-0 at halftime against Rockledge, and we ended up losing 19-16 in overtime.”

As Scott has been working hard to improve his overall craft this offseason through lifting, field work, and beach workouts, he has also been working to make the most of his recruiting process. The Jensen Beach defender has no offers at this time, but he does have interest from Richmond, Stetson, and West Florida.

“Coach [Timothy] Caffey does a great job of getting us around coaches from all over the country,” Scott said. “He does this all for us, even as we see how the transfer portal is killing high school recruiting. Instead of colleges looking for high school players first, they go straight to the portal where they can find 20-year old players with four years of eligibility. I know the recruiting process has been tough, but it will all work out in the end.”

At this time, Scott is as locked in as he ever could be. He will be going into his senior season in a few weeks, and he’s looking to make the most of it.

“My individual goal is to do whatever I can to help our team win,” Scott said. “State champs. That’s what I want for our team.”
