Taylor spoke briefly on his junior season at Boca Raton.
“It went pretty good,” Taylor said. “I loved how we were underestimated and ended up being district champs.”
Ironically, Taylor transferred this offseason to the team he helped beat for the Class 4M-District 13 title (24-21 home win in Week 8 of the regular season over Santaluces).
The 2025 standout touched on the inspiration behind playing for Santaluces now.
“I transferred for a better opportunity,” Taylor said. “Coach Hector [Clavijo] is a great coach, along with my defensive coach [Samuel] Putmon.”
A man of not too many words, Taylor is using this offseason to improve his craft through individual and team workouts, as well as camps and 7-on-7’s.
Watch Taylor work with some offseason footage below.
Here’s hoping that Taylor has a great senior season ahead with Santaluces.
