MOORE HAVEN – We have presented to you all of the communities that are represented in this year’s edition of the Moore Haven Terriers.
You have seen that players from the areas of Moore Haven, Clewiston, LaBelle, South Bay, Belle Glade, and Pahokee are all in this mission together as a collective.
And now you will see the following:
•Mission to win first state title in school history
•Games that the Terriers are most looking forward to this upcoming season

For the record, Moore Haven (7-4 in 2023) has reached the state title game once in its history. This collective wants nothing less than a second appearance, meaning that in their mindsets, it’s state or bust.
This past season, the Terriers reached the Class 1S-Region 4 final. But their season ended on the road in a 35-0 loss to First Baptist Academy (Naples).
And then in the spring game, Moore Haven came up short in a 41-6 home loss to Specially Fit Academy (Dover) on Wednesday, May 22.
“A lot of people had a lot to say about it, saying we were the sorriest team around the lake, we’re gonna get blowed out this whole season,” Moore Haven incoming senior offensive lineman/defensive lineman Amarion Snipe said.
“We’re looking out for what we got coming,” Snipe continued. “It’s hard to win a game when you got players who aren’t disciplined enough. Coming from an old head coach and different leadership, it was hard for the players to adjust and just come to practice every day. They’re not being used to being attentive in practice and having good attendance. So we had to break that coming into Moore Haven. Now we’re just standing on something great. We’re on a great milestone. I just want to tell y’all to look out for it. That’s all I got to say.”
Here are some clips for you to see and hear for yourself. Take a look at them below.
