PORT ST. LUCIE – It is time to go all out and leave everything out on the field.
This is the mindset of Cameron “Cam” Harris, who wants to make the most out of his senior season.
The 6-foot, 165-pound athlete is out to make a positive impression on his teammates, his coaches, and college scouts who will be watching his every move on the field and beyond.
Harris is looking to expand on his successful junior season in his lone campaign last year at Treasure Coast. He posted the following estimated statistics:
•700+ total yards
•6 total touchdowns
Best game from last season: Week 4 at Martin County in 35-12 win with 195 total yards and two touchdowns
“I think it went great for me,” Harris said. “My quarterback at the time Ahmar Atwell was setting me up great and was putting the ball in places where only I could go get it. When I was running the ball, my o-line did a great job blocking. And on one of my runs I had for like 45 yards, George Roberts set a great lead block for me to get in space. I just feel like I was on fire that game. Everything was clicking for me. Nobody on that field could stop me. It felt like I could get it open however I wanted.”

This past offseason, Harris decided to transfer from Treasure Coast to Centennial. He returns to Cen10 after playing there as a freshman and sophomore.

“It just felt like the best choice to me,” Harris said. “I have a really good relationship with Coach Vlad [Vladimir Saget] and Ant [Anthony Saget]. I’ve known them since I was five years old. And just wanted to come back to a spread offense.”
Side note: The Saget father-son duo have also returned to Centennial after one season at Treasure Coast this past year.
Harris spoke on Centennial head coach Jacob Turay.
“Coach T is a good high-energy coach,” Harris said. “He cares about his players and is very passionate about the game of football. It’s gonna be a good Year 2 for him.”
At this moment, Harris does not have any college offers on the table. But he is confident they will come his way in due time.
“It’s going alright,” Harris said of his recruiting process. “It should be better than what it is, but that’s alright. I have a lot to prove this season. I’ve talked to a couple of schools, but nothing major.”
The focus right now is solely on these next few months ahead for Harris, who shared his aspirations for what he wants his senior season to be like at Centennial.

“Individual goals will be 600+ receiving yards with 7+ touchdowns and 6 interceptions with 40+ tackles since I will be playing both ways at wide receiver and free safety,” Harris said. “My team goals will be for us to make a good playoff push and get better each day. We step on that field and have a good brotherhood and chemistry while we’re out there.”
