Top 10 Muckstepper Performances from Week 1

PALM BEACH COUNTY – It was a challenge to compile a list of top performers from the Muck for Week 1.

But after getting some good to great ones that are worth highlighting, now is a good time to show off our area’s best from the slate of season-opening games.

Below is a list of our Top 10 and Honorable Mentions from Week 1.

1. RB/LB Ramsey Rimes (Glades Day)

• 8 carries for 153 yards with 3 rushing touchdowns; 30-yard receiving touchdown; 5 tackles, 1 tackle for loss in 35-7 home win over Boca Raton Christian

2. ATH Jyron Hughley (Cardinal Newman)    

•7-for-11 passing, 89 yards, 3 touchdowns, no interceptions; 8 carries, 61 yards, 2 touchdowns; 150 total yards; accounted for 5 touchdowns in 46-7 road win over Monsignor Pace (Miami)

3. RB Jaylin Brown (Cardinal Newman)     

•13 carries for 145 yards with 2 touchdowns in 46-7 road win over Monsignor Pace (Miami)

4. Armaud Stinfort (Glades Central)

• 15 carries, 90 yards, 2 touchdowns; 5-yard game-winning touchdown run in 34-31 overtime road win over Seminole Ridge
