HOLLYWOOD – Camari Hall is a sure-fire standout on the field in more ways than one.
Listed as a 5-foot-11, 180-pound athlete, the Chaminade-Madonna Lions senior played both ways this past Saturday night (Oct. 5) on the road against Monarch. He posted two tackles at defensive back, but had a monster performance at running back.

Hall registered 10 carries for 117 and two touchdowns (11.7-yard rushing average) in the Lions 37-8 victory over the Knights. His amazing performance played a key role in his team improving to 5-2 on the season with a No. 29 national ranking by MaxPreps.

With that said, Hall has had other great games this season, including a defensive masterpiece in Week 3 against American Heritage (Plantation). In the Lions 48-45 win over the Patriots, he recorded a season-high 11 tackles to lead the defense.
“The Heritage game was a back and forth one,” Hall said. “It was great though.”
After seven games played this season, the Lions senior has posted the following statistics:
OFFENSE AT RUNNING BACK
•10 carries, 117 yards, 2 TD’s – All against Monarch in Week 7
DEFENSE AT DEFENSIVE BACK
•35 total tackles, 4 tackles for loss
Hall on how his senior season at Chaminade has been faring so far:
“It’s been going good,” Hall said. “I’ve been making plays on both sides of the ball.”
Believe it or not, Hall is playing his first season at Chaminade. He transferred from McArthur in the offseason for one key reason.
“Better competition,” Hall said.
Also, Hall is all set to go for the next level. He pledged his verbal commitment to Middle Tennessee on June 23, choosing the Group of 5 school over others such as Liberty, Coastal Carolina, UT-Chattanooga, and Campbell (FCS school).
Hall on what led him to go with MTSU:
“They were showing the most love towards me,” Hall said. “They wanted me a lot.”
Now as we get into the final several weeks of this high school football season, Hall will likely have some more memorable moments ahead at Chaminade.
After Hurricane Milton passes through our state of Florida on Wednesday (Oct. 9) and Thursday (Oct. 10), we will know for sure if Chaminade’s next game against St. Thomas Aquinas (6-1; No. 9 in MaxPreps national rankings) is going to be played on Friday (Oct. 11) at Pitbull Stadium (FIU) in Miami.
Should the game be played as scheduled, Hall is looking forward to it.
“I just want to go out there and play my best,” he said.
Hall shared his ultimate goal to cap his high school football career.
“To win as state champions,” he said.
