Top Muckstepper Performances from Week 9

PALM BEACH COUNTY – To say this quite objectively, our Mucksteppers showed up and showed out in a big way for Week 9.

In what was the most productive week of this season to date, we have a lot of players to honor. Some of our Honorable Mentions for this week would be in the Top 10 in any other week.

2. QB Taj Barnes (Glades Central): 14-of-24 passing, 202 yards, 2 touchdowns, no interceptions; 9 carries, 16 yards; 218 total yards in 21-17 road win over Sebring

3. RB Jaylin Brown (Cardinal Newman): 16 carries, 158 rushing yards; 47 receiving yards; 205 total yards; 2 total touchdowns in 43-10 home win over Melbourne Central Catholic

4. RB Rashon Brown (Pahokee): 17 carries, 153 yards, 1 touchdown; 3 receptions, 52 yards; 205 total yards in 30-6 road win over Zephyrhills Christian Academy

5. RB Armaud Stinfort (Glades Central): 26 carries, 154 yards, 1 touchdown; 158 total yards in 21-17 road win over Sebring 

6. ATH Jyron Hughley (Cardinal Newman): 13-of-16 passing, 120 yards, 1 touchdown, no interceptions; 5 carries for 37 yards; 157 total yards in Cardinal Newman’s 43-10 home win over Melbourne Central Catholic

7. RB/LB Samuel Arnold (Pahokee): 6 carries, 49 yards; 7 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, 1 interception return for 65-yard touchdown; 30-yard kickoff return; 144 total yards in 30-6 road win over Zephyrhills Christian Academy

8. QB Zachary Mitchell (Pahokee): 11-of-17, 115 yrds, 2 touchdowns, no interceptions; 3 carries, 23 yards; 138 total yards in 30-6 road win over Zephyrhills Christian Academy

9. RB Tyree Pearson (Wellington): 7 carries, 70 yards, 1 touchdown; 63-yard touchdown reception; 133 total yards, 2 total touchdowns in 51-0 home win over Olympic Heights

10. WR Demetrius Gibson (Royal Palm Beach): 5 receptions, 119 yards, 1 touchdown in 29-27 road win over Palm Beach Gardens
