Young content creator prodigy: Marlon Williams

WELLINGTON – Palm Beach County’s best graphic designer is a high school freshman.

Meet Marlon Williams, the master content creator behind some of the area’s most creative verbal commitment works over the past several months. The Palm Beach Central High School ninth grader works primarily behind the scenes, but his impact on our area’s high school football players is undeniable.

Williams has created illustrious designs for:

Palm Beach Central 2025 wide receiver Nedrick Boldin – Boston College verbal commit

Somerset Academy Canyons 2025 wide receiver Waden Charles – UCF verbal commit

Atlantic (Delray Beach) 2025 wide receiver Teddy Hoffman – FAU verbal commit

There are many more creations that Williams has put to life. But we will focus on these three for now.

Williams shared his inspiration behind getting into the media industry as a graphic designer.

“I like taking photos from our amazing photographers and turning them into something special for the players,” Williams said.

Williams has a lot of confidence in his work, so much so that he wants to share how he feels about the level of impact he has had to date.

“I’d like to highlight that I was among the first young content creators, setting trends and paving the way for a new generation,” Williams said. “My work not only broke barriers but also inspired countless young creators to pursue their passions and carve out their own paths in the industry.”

Williams shared how he assembled the Pahokee native’s Boston College verbal commitment graphic.

“I created the design in eight grade, aiming for something unique for Nedrick, long before I attended Palm Beach Central,” Williams said. “When I finally met Nedrick in person, it was clear he embodied the true definition of a student-athlete, excelling both on the field and in the classroom.”

We may get to see both Williams and Boldin together in person for Early National Signing Day on Wednesday (Dec. 4), as the Boston College verbal commit will put pen to paper at approximately 2 p.m.

With that said, Williams went on to share his most memorable design to date.

“It’s Waden Charles for UCF,” Williams said. “The graphic I made for Waden was definitely my favorite and sentimental.”

Charles will be signing his letter of intent to UCF on Wednesday (Dec. 4) at 4 p.m. This could happen inside the Somerset Academy Canyons gymnasium.

As Charles is working to make his college football home official, Williams already has a media team home. He is a graphic designer for New Era Prep, a local independent media organization that has been in existence since 2017.

Williams credits lead content creator and lead photographer Christian Proscia for being in the media industry at this time.

“Christian really made joining New Era Prep feel like a place of belonging, like a home almost,” Williams said.

Proscia spoke on the positive impact that Williams has had on the New Era Prep media team.

“Marr is an outstanding content creator and an even better young man,” Proscia said. Despite being just a freshman in high school, he conducts himself in the highest levels of professionalism. Marr is one of the hardest working and reliable people I’ve ever been around.”

Proscia had more to say about the young prodigy.

“Whenever I need something, he gets it to me in a timely manner,” Proscia said. “He’s eager to learn and grow, both as a content creator and leader. It’s truly a blessing to work with him.”

Proscia’s favorite design from Williams is the one he created for Hoffmann, who recently flipped his verbal commitment from Appalachian State to FAU.

Take a look at the Hoffmann verbal commitment graphic to FAU.

A few other key designs that Williams created verbal commitments for include:

Miami Central 2025 wide receiver Naeshaun Montgomery – Verbal commit to Florida

Santaluces 2025 wide receiver Jamar Browder – Verbal commit to Michigan

Benjamin 2025 offensive lineman Landon Rapkiewicz – Verbal commit to FAU

Benjamin 2025 linebacker Dylan Furshman – Verbal commit to Brown for football and lacrosse

Let us celebrate Williams for his talents as he has a wonderful present and future ahead of him in more ways than one.
