MIAMI – The West Boca Raton Bulls did not come to just play at Pitbull Stadium.
They came to win. They came to make history.
And they came to conquer all doubters in the process.

In their convincing 26-7 win today (Dec. 13) over the Osecola (Kissimmee) Kowboys, we were treated to a career best game from junior quarterback Mason Mallory. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound team captain led the way with two game-changing moments, which were as follows:
•60-yard touchdown pass to junior wide receiver Kyle Andrews – 9:57 left in the first quarter
•47-yard touchdown pass to junior wide receiver Mark Hanniford – 44 seconds left in the third quarter
These two plays led to 12 of the 26 points that West Boca Raton scored in the Class 6A state title game against Osecola. They were enough to seal the deal for West Boca Raton (15-0 final record).
We got another treat from West Boca Raton sophomore quarterback Trey Moran, who served us with the state-title icing play with 3:19 left in the game. It was a beautifully thrown 93-yard dagger to the end zone for Hanniford, who finished the game with two catches for 140 yards – both of which was for touchdowns.
And how about our kicker in John Farfan?
The West Boca Raton sophomore connected on two field goals – a 23-yarder with 4:51 left in the first quarter and a 31-yarder with 3:15 left in the third quarter. He made two extra point attempts as well.
Farfan would go on to contribute eight of West Boca Raton’s 26 total points in this one.
With the victory, the Bulls have earned its special place in high school football annals as the second-ever 15-0 team in Palm Beach County. They now join the legendary Dwyer Panthers 2013 team, who accomplished this feat in Class 7A under then-head coach Jack Daniels.
We can now place West Boca Raton head coach Dylan Potts – in just his third year at the helm – as a true legend in Palm Beach County. He has now gone 30-7 in his three-year run as the Bulls head coach.
The Class of 2026 core – which comprises of many current West Boca Raton players – can share in this amazing run from the very start of it all back in 2022. They have been part of every single growth process over the years, and now they will reap the benefits of it all.
