With the college recruiting process starting and finishing as one filled with a host of challenges, the Glades Central 2025 offensive lineman chose to end it once and for all.

The 6-foot-1, 310-pound offensive standout signed with Midland, a NAIA school based in Fremont, Neb.

“I felt like that was best option for me,” Holman said. “I like the coaches. The program looks like it’s going in the right direction, and I appreciate the coaches for giving me an opportunity to play for this organization.”

Holman finished his senior season at Glades Central with 23 pancakes and one sack allowed. He credited head coach Omar Haugabook for what he achieved in his final high school football campaign.

“This season went good for me. I played alright,” said Holman, who played alongside fellow senior offensive lineman Sadler Soles (No. 18-ranked player in Palm Beach County; Enrolled at Anderson) and Jerry Alcindor (No. 40 – Palm Beach County; Signed with Bethune-Cookman).

“Coach Omar has been my coach for three years now,” said Holman, who played for Pahokee as a sophomore and junior. “Only thing this year we were wearing a different color. But Coach Omar is a great coach. He motivated us to give 100 percent on and off the field. I  wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to be my coach for my senior year.”
