Signing Day Recap: OL Zyon Harris picks Fort Hays State

PORT ST. LUCIE – Zyon Harris kept it simple.

On the morning of Feb. 5 – National Signing Day – at Treasure Coast High School, the 6-foot, 275-pound offensive lineman announced his decision to sign with Fort Hays State, a Division II school based in Hays, Kan.

Harris pledged his verbal commitment to the institution on Jan. 22.

The Pahokee native is now linked up with fellow Muckstepper and Fort Hays State offensive line coach Amari Angram-Boldin, who played an integral role in making this college opportunity possible.

Harris was selected to play in the Treasure Coast vs. Palm Beach All-Star Game last month. He helped Treasure Coast earn a berth in the Class 7A playoffs.

Harris finished as the Muck’s No. 12-ranked player and the Treasure Coast’s No. 30-ranked player from the Class of 2025.
