JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – Prior to last month, there was no certainty as to where Temarion Foster’s college destination would be at.
But during the holidays, one school emerged and made the Pahokee native a true priority.

Enter Jacksonville State, a rising Conference USA program which moved up from the FCS level to the FBS level in 2023.
The Inlet Grove 2025 alum took a visit to the Gamecocks facility early last month. From there, he subsequently secured his commitment to the program on Jan. 7.

Just one day later – on Jan. 8 – Foster would go on to enroll at Jacksonville State University. And on Jan. 9 – one day after the enrollment – Jax State proudly announced on social media that the Muckstepper has signed with the program.
Inlet Grove head coach Rashad Jackson offered his commentary on Foster.
“Temarion loves the game of football,” Jackson said. “He’s a hardworking young man. He’s the first one in the weight room and last one out. His character and love for others is awesome. He’s a tough and physical kid who plays the game at a high level. Finally he loves the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the most important thing about him.”
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound defensive back (No. 11-ranked player from the Muck; No. 64-ranked player in Palm Beach County) finished his senior season at Inlet Grove with the following statistics:
DEFENSE
•41 total tackles
•3 tackles for loss
•11 pass breakups
•2 forced fumbles
•1 fumble recovery
OFFENSE
•3 carries, 31 yards
•3 receptions, 122 yards, 1 touchdown
Foster was selected to play in the Palm Beach County All-Star Game, which occurred on Dec. 14, 2024 at Jupiter High School. It was the last time he would suit up and appear in a game the high school level.
Let us congratulate and celebrate Foster as he looks to make a further impact on the college level for the next several years ahead with Jacksonville State.
