Ladies Muck Bowl: Pahokee holds off Glades Central in 7-0 home win

PAHOKEE – All it took was one.

In this year’s Ladies Muck Bowl at Anquan Boldin Stadium on Thursday night (April 3), we got a key play that pretty much summed up the scoring action. It came from a Pahokee eighth-grader by the name of Kaliyah Robinson.

It was a defensive battle from that scoring play all the way to the final buzzer.

Case in point: During the second half, Glades Central made strides to advance to near the goal line for Pahokee. When this happened, Pahokee did what it needed to be to prevent the Lady Raising from crossing the end zone mark.

After the final buzzer secured Pahokee’s 7-0 win over Glades Central, two players took the time out to recap tonight’s action.
