PALM BEACH COUNTY – In the fourth iteration of Palm Beach County’s player rankings for the Class of 2027, not many changes were made this time.
We have three Top 10 debuts and six new total entries, as all but one of the official debuts will occupy the 36-40 spots.
In us expanding the list from 35 to 40 players, our Close to 40 group consists of 15 additional players that we strongly considered for the Top 40.
The focus was on at least four things:
•Kickoff classic performances
•Summer camp and/or 7-on-7 performances
•Film study and evaluation of players
•Offer count and quality of offers
PLEASE NOTE: We will always place on-field production above all else. But now that college coaches are looking for players to commit to their schools as early as possible, we will place more of an emphasis on that as well.
With that said, we have spent a lot of time watching Hudl film, looked over and double-checked statistics throughout the ranked players’ sophomore seasons and pored over the quality and quantity of college scholarship offers they received, while heeding to advice from at least one highly credible outside source.
