No longer overlooked: Jupiter wins Team of the Year at 34th Annual Lou Groza Awards Ceremony

WEST PALM BEACH – For almost all of its history, the Jupiter Warriors have been disrespected, disregarded, and overlooked by just about anyone not closely affiliated with the team.

They have torched those negative adjectives and formally earned the respect of all in this season of widespread elevation.

For the first time in program history, Jupiter claimed Palm Beach County’s most prestigious honor in high school football by winning Team of the Year at the 34th Annual Lou Groza Awards Ceremony on Monday night (Dec. 8).

Jupiter, which was the only team in Palm Beach County to finish the regular season at 10-0, captured the top award over previous winners and current state finalists Cardinal Newman (Lou Groza Team of the Year; 2022 and 2023) and West Boca Raton (Lou Groza Team of the Year; 2024).

Led by head coach Jason Kradman (Lou Groza Coach of the Year; 2023), Jupiter (10-1 final record) won the District 12-7A title by way of accomplishing its primary goal.

Watch the footage below to see what that was.

Jupiter players recapped their Team of the Year honor in their own way.

The best Jupiter team in school history featured a total of 30 seniors. They made sure to stay laser focused on their goals and love on each other along the way.

This Jupiter collective will be remembered as a true brotherhood in more ways than one. They will be celebrated as a model for future teams to follow.
