Mother’s Day Tribute: Three-sport athlete Corrado DeSantis

PALM BEACH GARDENS – Corrado DeSantis wants to show off his mother in a Mother’s Day appreciation story post.

Mother’s Name: Myriam DeSantis

My mother inspires me in many ways, but these four stood out to me the most growing up:

•My mom inspires me on the field, mat and track to always give 110 percent on every play, whether it’s tackling, conditioning or running.

•My mom inspires me to be a great student-athlete and show respect to teachers and administrators. She raised me the right way by always being tough on me and saying, “You’ll thank me later.” And now I am thanking her.

•My mom inspires me to be the best version of myself at home by being a respectful, hard-working, and responsible young man.

•Lastly, my mother inspires me to be a great role model to the younger kids I consider family and the community. She always wanted me to be a leader growing up, and now I am someone that people look up to and follow. It’s because of her.
